Hi there! My name is Lisa, and I would be happy to take care of your dog! I'm an expert with dogs, having had them almost my whole life. As of right now, I've had experience taking care of family member's, co-worker's, and friend's dogs. I enjoy walking dogs and feel as though it is a win-win situation, considering both the dog and I are getting some good exercise. I will gladly have them overnight and keep them safe and well taken care of. I would like to point out that I do own four small dogs, but they are in their own designated and caged area away from your pet if your dog isn't fond of other dogs. Leashes and other supplies such as food and water bowls need to be provided for your own pet. I do have some supplies, but mostly for smaller dogs and would rather you bring the dog's own leashes, bowls, and preferred items, just so the dog is comfortable and happy. Comfort is very important to me. I will make sure your dog is getting the proper food and exercise it needs to be happy. Trips to the yard and walks are a guarantee for overnight stays. I am able to take care of your dog no matter the breed, but there are some things I would like to know before you bring them in. Are they crate trained? Are they good with other dogs? Are they spayed/neutered? How good are they with kids? I am very good with dogs and have a lot of experience with several breeds, but being that I own smaller dogs, I am more used to handling tinier breeds. Medium sized dogs I am able to handle as well, but since they would be bigger, it would be good to know if they are good with children and other dogs.
A typical day
My community has a track about a minute away from where I live. Your dog will enjoy a nice walk to the track and perhaps, if they are up for it, take a few laps around. There is a nice pool a few yards away as well and would think they would enjoy walking around the nice scenery. I have a few toys at home, which means some games of fetch are definitely in consideration. If your dog is friendly with other pets, my dogs would be happy to see a new face around the house. Some good interaction between them could be arranged, promoting healthy habits that would surely give your dog awesome social skills!
