Lisa is the best!! She has watched our fur babies for us twice now and she will definitely be our go-to person in the future. She genuinely cares about animals and is fantastic about sending updates.

Our 11 year-old Jack Russell (Penny) is like a child to my wife and I, so we always have struggled finding someone to give her the special care and loving attention she needs while we're away. She is very high strung and can be temperamental at times, making it difficult to find someone capable of caring for her. When decided to check out for a sitter, several different care givers came up that ...

Lisa was absolutely the best! She stayed at my house with 2 dogs and 2 cats. Every day, we got updates and pictures, reassuring us that these fur babies were having as good a time as we were! We will surely use her service again and highly recommend her!! Thanks Lisa!!

All Dogs are Family!

I grew up around dogs and have always loved them, along with all kinds of animals. I never had a dog of my own until 2010, when I fell in love with a three-legged dog through a local rescue, and after a 2-hour drive to meet him, took him home.

I also became involved in volunteering through a local rescue in 2013. I foster dogs when I can, help with transport, help with the adoption ...

What Lisa would like to know about your dog

Before sitting for your dog, I'd love to hear about what kind of personality he or she has: if they enthusiastically greet new humans or if they need some time to warm up, if they love being pet or if they prefer to have more personal space, and how they interact with other dogs.

I'd love to hear about anything else you'd love to share about your pet companion! Anything from favorite toys to funny stories, to any specific rituals they follow (food, bedtime, etc), or any behaviors to be aware of. I want to meet their and your needs.

When Lisa watches your pet

I live in a beautiful, small, quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees that's great for going on walks! There is also a park nearby that's great for walking, as well as nearby hiking trails.

Indoors we can play "Go find it" (either hiding and searching for toys or treats), play with tugs toys, cuddle (if your dog likes to cuddle), and I can give your dog mini massages (if they are okay with massages).

I took an Introduction to Pet Massage class a few years ago; I've noticed a favorite with the dogs I've fostered has been ear rubs!

I'd also love to take pictures of your dog and send them to you, if you are interested. I take pictures here and there as a hobby and for the rescue I volunteer with.

If your dog will be staying with me, make sure to bring along his or her favorite toy(s), food, crate, or any other essentials that will make their stay as comfortable as possible.
