Consider me your dog’s auntie!
Pet care experience
I am new to this, but I really strive to provide a continuous environment for the dogs by learning and adopting the owner’s practices. My family jokingly calls me the child whisperer, so I imagine that could translate to dogs!
Reviews
Linnea did an excellent job checking in on our young pup while away on vacation. She kept us updated with lots of photos, and even began some training. We will definitely use her again on future bookings and would strongly recommend her to other folks!
Linnea did wonderful with Cherry! She is obviously wonderful with dogs ❤️
Linnea is amazing! My dog Otis was treated so well, she is also so kind and respectful! Recommended to all of my friends and family!
Linnea was very responsive and helpful when things did not go exactly to plan. One of my dogs is prone to accidents and she did a good job cleaning those up as they occurred. She also helped when one of my dogs was digging a hole under the fence. She was kind, responsive, and clearly enjoyed spending time with our dogs. She followed instructions well for their care and I can wholeheartedly recommend her for drop in appointments!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a mostly fenced backyard - there’s a pathway that is currently unfenced in the far back. I have an extended lead leash that I like to use if I want to hang in the backyard with the dog or for potty breaks. I do not leave dogs outside by themselves. I’m either outside with them or in the kitchen which leads to the backyard. My neighbors are comfortable with dogs, and we have some friendly dogs in the neighborhood but I proceed with caution. Typically I cross the street and monitor both dogs behavior before making introductions during walks. If circumstances don’t allow for crossing the street, I’ll ask the other owner if it’s safe to proceed, or I’ll have the dog sit so I’m in between the dog in my care and the oncoming dog. Meet and greets are REQUIRED at my place for boarding and doggy daycare services; and they are strongly preferred for all other services. If the dog demonstrates good training and respect for boundaries, I allow pets on furniture and am comfortable with dogs roaming freely in the house when my husband or I are out of the house. We take it case by case with allowing dogs on the bed at night.

Information Linnea M. would like to know about your pet
How long you’ve had the dog, and whether they were recently adopted and any history of aggression. Overall temperament and emotional needs, and if there’s any socialization concerns with other dogs or people. If your dog’s needs cause me to decline other clients, I will need to add a fee for the missed opportunity.
A typical day
I like going for long walks and playing games like “tug” and “fetch” with the various toys dogs have. I love practicing commands and helping to train dogs. I’m getting pretty good at it!

Availability
I prioritize my clients scheduling needs, and will communicate beforehand if there’s a conflict. I prefer providing services during typical work hours because my evenings are typically pretty full. I am happy to consider requests later in the day. I do travel periodically, so I try to keep my calendar updated to account for that. I only offer boarding services in Sunday’s, otherwise I am not available. For boarding inquiries, a minimum of two days is required.
