Pet care experience
I’m from Sweden but have been in Berlin for over ten years. I‘m fluent in German, English and Swedish. I speak dog in French and Spanish too, but just basic commands. A few years ago I lost my rescue dog to cancer. I had him for almost his whole life and I still dearly miss him and the companionship. This made me sign up for Rover, as I’m not quite ready to get another dog just yet but still love to be around them. When it comes to handling dogs I believe in a loving but firm environment. There is no such thing as too much cuddling, but discipline and exercise is very important too. I work from home and go for long walks everyday to the Landwehrkanal, Tempelhof, Viktoriapark or Hasenheide. One can say I’m currently a dog owner without a dog, and I would love to help you with yours! :)

Linn is an excellent sitter and knows how to handle different types of dogs, especially our hound-mix Oliver. He is a bit nervous with new people but she quickly made him feel at home. We appreciate the updates and pics and can’t wait to use Linn again to take care of our dog.
Linn took fantastic care of my 12-year-old dog while I was out of town for 4 nights. I was a little nervous because of my dog's age, and I'm not particularly eager to leave him often but Linn was reassuring and experienced. She sent many updates, which I appreciated, and I took excellent care of him, including lots of walks in unpredictable Berlin winter weather. As always, we were glad being able to let our dog stay with Linn while we were away. He absolutely loves staying with her. We couldn't be happier :)
Linn was very easy to communicate with and she was lovely with our cat Pi. Pi is old with chronic diseases and needs medication which Linn handled perfectly. Linn sent us updates and pictures every day showing us that Pi felt at home and was having a great time with Linn which made us feel very comfortable leaving Pi with her. We can highly recommend Linn.

I never leave pets home alone at long periods of time. Unless I’m going somewhere I can’t bring them, like the gym or grocery store, I prefer to just take them with me.

I’d like to know if your pet can be home alone at all as I’m unfortunately unable to host pets that can’t be home alone at all for more than a day or two. For dogs I’d like to know if they can be reactive with other dogs or with people. And of course I’d like to know what their favorite treats are. :)
A typical day
Long walks by the canal or any of the nearby parks if the weather allows for it, an abundance of cuddles and maybe a nap or two.

Availability
I work from home and go on long walks almost every day, so pet sitting isn’t really disruptive for me unless we have very different schedules or circadian rhythms. :)
