Pet care experience
We love dogs!!! I currently work ~2 shifts per week outside of the home. My partner works 2 or 3 long shifts a week and likes to be home with our pets when he is off work. All three humans in our family enjoy dog-sitting for friends and family. My partner has completed an emergency medical training for police and military working dogs. We're open to working with medications with your instruction. Please bring your doggie's crate if they use one. We only use a crate with your consent to keep dogs separate while we are not supervising or if they can not refrain from having potty accidents in the house, chasing cats, or chewing things up while not supervised. Lindsley did a great job taking care of our pups over our holiday travels. She was very kind and professional from the very beginning and even agreed to come meet our pups before the scheduled time so we would feel more comfortable. This was or first booking with Rover and we were highly satisfied. The video and picture updates were great, and our boys seemed very happy and healthy when we returned. We definitely will be using Lindsley’s services in the future!

Lindsley and her fiancé were an amazing couple, dedicated to the care and happiness of our 13 year old Jack Russell. I received daily photos and videos of our precious pup, receiving belly rubs, sleeping on the sofa, and hanging-out with their super loveable Great Pyrenees mix, and two cats. Our pup loved her stay, and was reluctant in leaving. I highly recommend Linsdley! A+++++

We do not expect perfection, so please be honest about your dogs quirks and tendencies. We understand that some dogs have trouble when left with a sitter, and we can usually get them to relax and feel at home with our family until their "bio" family returns. Also let us know if your dog does better going potty off of the leash. We assume all of our clients should be kept on leash at all times outside with us unless told otherwise.
A typical day
We have a large & private wooded yard with no fence. Our curvy, mountain road is not great for pedestrians, so we tend to "hike" around the yard for our walks or drive down to a nearby school for exercise. (Because of that, it is very important that your dog is up to date on their flea & tick medicine before their stay with us.) We love to take our rover dogs out to eat with us if they are into that sort of thing!
