Hi there! My name is Lindsey. I have been caring for dogs, cats, amphibians, birds, and even tarantulas for years. My experience started as a child, taking care of neighbors' houses and pets, and, over the years, I have gained a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. In addition, I am fully insured (independently of Rover) as a Pet Sitter and am certified in Dog and Cat CPR and First Aid through Red Cross. Did your usual pet sitter cancel? I welcome last-minute requests! Instructions are very valuable to me. As someone with two cats with food sensitivities, I understand just how important it is to make sure your requests are followed to a tee. Behavior-wise, I am experienced with reactive pups. I have a reactive dog of my own, whom I have been working with for the past year and a half, and, pre-pandemic, I was a volunteer dog walker for LifeLine, which gave me a ton of experience with different types of reactivity. Meet and greets are required for reactive pups to ensure that it's a good fit. My goal is to set you and your pup up for success!! I am more than happy to follow your routine! Between my husband's and my own, I have access to multiple reliable vehicles, and I pride myself on punctuality. I love all animals, and I consider myself to be very patient and caring. My entire goal with joining Rover is to care for your pets in the way I would want someone to care for my own. I am of the philosophy that our pets are our children, and I know that having your trust to take care of your babies is a true honor. With me, you can expect long write-ups detailing each visit, lots of photos, and the assurance that I will go the extra mile to ensure that your pets are well cared for.
