Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong pet owner and animal friend! In terms of professional experience, I worked for a doggie daycare and grooming facility all through high school where I was a dog washer and helped out socializing and walking the dogs. I currently volunteer at a Los Angeles Animal Shelter as well and have had fear-free shelter training for dogs, cats, and smaller pets like bunnies, hamster, ferrets, and more. I have two senior cats that I love more than anything, and I'd be happy to care for your cats as well! I'm currently a college student, so my schedule is very flexible, and I'd love to spend extra time caring for animals! I love to hike, so if you'd like me to take your dog for a longer walk, I'm absolutely open to that, just message me with your request! I'm also comfortable with basically all breeds so long as they are leash trained (I'm a bit on the short side though, so if your pup is especially large and a very strong puller I may not be the best fit). I'm also happy to do check-ins/feedings for pets of all kinds and will treat your home with the utmost care and respect. In regards to COVID, I am personally still quite cautious, especially during busy times like the holiday season (I typically wear a mask when outside my home). I am happy to show you proof of vaccination as well, and will comply with any other precautions you feel necessary.

I'm not a professional trainer, but if there are any habits you'd like us to work on (leash training younger pups, commands they are still learning, etc) feel free to let me know and I'll try to practice with them as much as I can.
A typical day
If your dog has a favorite spot nearby I'd love to take them there, though I do enjoy exploring new parks so if your pup is more adventurous that's great as well! Let me know what route you'd prefer and I'd be happy to comply!

Availability
I currently have a part time job a few nights a week in the evenings (usually Thursday-Sunday), approximately 5:30pm to 10pm. Unfortunately Rover's calendar does not allow me to add my specific weekly availability, but you can always message me to check! I can also stop by for drop-in visits after my shift ends.
