8+ Years Experienced Foster Mom

Pet care experience

I have been a foster mom and adopter for 8 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. I have 2 extremely friendly dogs. They are used to having new playmates and are comfortable with all of our doggie guests. My pack is very laid back. I have Mya my Alaskan Klee Kai and Ludo the German Shepard mix. They are all up-to-date on their shots and heartworm and flea prevention. To me dogs are people and deserve to be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. Your dog will have all the walks he or she wants and needs. Even swimming in the summer in the kiddie pool or at my in-law's pool 20 minutes from my house. They can sleep with me in the bedroom, on the floor or in our bed. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral or injectable and am able to do dog CPR and am close friends with a nearby vet. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I'm a huge dog lover and fostered around 50 dogs for Furry Kids' Refuge. It is my life's work to stop puppy mills. I'm a very active person and enjoy outdoor activities including, triathlons and 5k's. I live my life for my family and my dogs. "Be the person your dog thinks your are." Boone Pickens. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees, makes for a nice shady backyard for doggies. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids. I work from home and am with them most of the time, except when I’m working with a client. Makes it very easy on the dogs. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. We walk every morning and snuggle on the couch every evening. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at him. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility.

Lindsey is the best! She knows how to spoil and take care of our fur baby. Roo loves hanging out and cuddling with her. We usually travel a couple of times a year, for at least 2 weeks in a row. When Roo stays with her we feel in peace. She is responsible, very knowledgeable and definitely a dog lover. Roo loves the walks and all the attention he gets. She sends us pictures of him everyday and messages letting us know how he is doing. Thank you, Lindsey! You are a blessing to our family.

Lindsey is excellent with my dog and very communicative. Over the course of 6+ years of knowing her and leaving my pups with her, she’s gone above and beyond, numerous times, in various situations. Lindsey will always be my #1 pick, as long as she is offering her boarding services!

Lindsay is the best. It is so comforting to leave our baby with someone who loves her as much as we do!

Information Lindsey S. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know about your dog's medical care, feeding schedule, and sleeping arrangements. Please let me know anything else that is important to you and your dog(s). I do not have any breed preferences nor any size preferences. I myself own giant and small dogs. Dogs must be up-to-date on all shots and wear their rabies tag on their collar. I will need their rabies certificate as well. I am unable to watch dogs that chase smaller dogs. I require all dogs to have a collar with an up-to-date rabies tag, non-retractable leash, food, and any creature comforts. I ask for an emergency contact and their Vet's phone number and address.

A typical day
