I've been an animal lover since before I can remember. After much begging as a child, I was blessed with growing up with 2 dogs and a horse. I still couldn't get enough of animals, so at 16, I asked my neighbor, who also happened to be a veterinarian, to give me a job. Though I had no experience and I was young, he agreed to let me try it out, and I ended up working as a veterinary assistant at Country View Veterinary Hospital on and off for 4 years. I also have experience working at a doggie daycare, and after I quit I also took on a personal client and worked for them for about a year until they moved away. I also care for family and friend's animals, and am not only familiar with dogs and cats, but also farm animals. With my veterinary experience, I am able to recognize illness and injuries and am trained to do first aid and I am also familiar with all the vets in the area in case of an emergency. Animals always have been more than pets to me; like any relationship, they have shaped and defined who I am. I would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family members!
