Instagram @girl_andherdogs I've always loved animals and grew up with dogs, cats, and rabbits. I just lost my sweet 16 year old pup so I'm not ready to adopt another one quite yet, but I miss the energy of having animals around me. I thought this was a great alternative! A lot of folks have asked for doggy day care as they do local river trips, which has been a fun way to connect with your pups while you go have fun. I'm about 6-8 minutes away from most of the river day activities (Coloma/Lotus), so please consider me for that!

we attended a wedding in Placerville, which is not where we live. We didn’t want to leave our nervous and shy dog alone for a whole weekend, and we weren’t sure what she would think if someone stayed at our house besides us. We decided to take her with us, and look for a sitter in Placerville, and Lindsey was the perfect sitter. She had the sensitivity and gentleness that our dog needed, and was very attentive to her and her needs.
Lindsey was great with my Mesa girl. First time using her and will definitely be contacting her again. Kept me up to date with when she arrived, left etc. thanks Lindsey!

Any behavioral issues (doesn't get along with kids/people/other animals, doesn't listen when called - since I'm not fenced in yet, we'd need to make sure we have a good plan for this). I like to know any health concerns and have an emergency number/your vet info. Daily routine/time of meals would also be very helpful.
A typical day
If your animal stays at my house, I'd love for them to hang out with me on my very large deck that is completely fenced in and gated, complete with a doggy pool! There is a shady easy trail just a few miles away, so we can go on walks there. If your dog likes to go out to socialize, I'm happy to explore dog parks or take them to a local brewery to hang out. I love working on home projects so I stay home a lot - this might work well for dogs who might not be as active (I miss my senior boy so much and would thrilled to take care of other aging pups).

Availability
I currently work part-time as a yoga instructor and from home the rest of the time. My schedule fluctuates most days and weeks, but I'm terrific at organizing and scheduling out so that I don't double book anything.
