Love any time spent with dogs
Pet care experience
I have had at least 2 dogs for all of my life, and can't get enough of them! I have 2 Golden Retrievers and 1 Dachshund in my home in St. Louis that I miss everyday. I used to walk dogs at the Humane Society and enjoy going to dog shelters to pet dogs when my friends and I are bored :). I graduated from Duke in 2018 and am now a medical student at Penn State Hershey. I am willing to walk, run, nap, wash, anything with the dogs. I believe in the saying, "Dogs are a man's best friend," and can provide companionship and love to anyone's pets. It would truly be a favor to me to let me take care of your dogs! I’m currently just studying and not going into the hospital, so I am free all the time! I would love a study buddy to keep me company. I live in a neighborhood with plenty of other dogs. I enjoy taking dogs to a field 5 minutes away, Schiovani park, and Bullfrog trail!

Lindsey took great care of our dog! She took him for walks, snuggled with him and made him feel right at home :). It was his 1st time away from us and she made us feel very comfortable leaving him! At my home, I take dogs on plenty of walks and take them to a field 5 minutes away to get some exercise, play fetch, frisbee, etc. I enjoy going to Bullfrog for a more scenic route too! On rainy days, I like playing tug of war inside and good cuddle sessions on the couch.

I appreciate knowing anything special about your dog. If they chew things, don’t get along with other dogs, what they like to do. It is helpful if I know if they are on the hyperactive side beforehand, so I can be prepared!
A typical day
My favorite activity is walking through the Bullfrog trails. If comfortable with a little off the leash time, I like to play in Shank Park! Otherwise, you can find us napping on the couch together.

Availability
I have scattered clinical rotations throughout this year, but also have months off at a time! I try and keep my schedule up to date for when I am on or off. When I am off, I can be home at almost all times of day to take dogs on walks however much they need!
