After many many years of learning the daycare/kenneling business, as well as becoming very familiar with dog behavior, I now specialize in daily check ins and in-home care for your furry friend. I currently work at a local kennel full time. I realize that not every pet prefers to socialize with other pets, and some owners are very uneasy about leaving their babies in a kennel for an extended period of time. It can be stressful for both. I aim to make both the pet and parent's comfort a priority. And there isn’t a personality I haven’t seen, so I’m willing to work with you on anything! I absolutely LOVE larger dogs and excel at handling their personalities but I do have a soft spot for the little ones as well. My family owns a 12 year old beagle but while I am living in the Akron/CLE area she does not live with me. My future hopes are to own a little Vizsla of my own! While dog-sitting overnight or long term in the house I would be providing intensive 24 hour care (flexible), bringing in the mail (unless you've put in on hold), watering plants, scooping the yard if needed, and doing regular cleaning every day to maintain the house in addition to the care of your pup. It will be like you never left!
