I am currently a nursing student at CNM and I had a yorkie for 15 years and recently had to put her down, giving her peace but also breaking my and my family’s hearts. I had a best girlfriend in high school who let me love her shih tzu and I got to watch her breed and give birth to my baby girl, I chose her myself and I was lucky enough to call her mine. She is spunky and fiesty and the love of my life. I have cared for puppies to older dogs who need their comfort and loving affection and I couldn’t be happier about it. It shows me that all stages of life are necessary and in need of care. And there isn’t a house I go into or park I walk that I don’t love to meet all pets. I feel like my love and appreciation for life is also translated into my love of all animals❤️
