ABOUT ME: Hi there, I’m Lindsey! Some quick tidbits about me: originally from Honolulu, HI, Baylor University alum, social worker, ISFJ and 2w1. I currently have one dog, Maisie, who is a well-behaved 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog. I have many years of experience with dogs & cats—whether it be walking, house-sitting, boarding, or any drop-ins. I grew up owning a multitude of pets and have sat for my neighbors pups frequently. I am a licensed master social worker at a Children’s Hospital for my day job, but also always enjoy doing Rover. I work a normal 9-5 M-F but am able to be somewhat flexible as my boyfriend also works from home and can take any pup for a potty break mid-day. I take this job very seriously, and want to ensure the well-being and safety of your beloved animal! I will ask questions before completing each booking to make sure I am fully equipped and know how to best care for your pet. I am intentional about sending frequent pictures and updates on your furry friend. If you book with me, you’ll always be able to check in and see how they’re doing.

Lindsey was an amazing sitter, especially for our first Rover experience with our new dog. She was super patient with our pup as he adjusted to a new house, sent us regular updates, and gave him plenty of play times.

LOCATION: I live in a luxury apartment complex on the first floor, and keep my place very tidy. We have 3 different dog parks that are fenced-in and just a few steps away from my unit. So whether it be a smaller pup or larger one, I can always take them to an appropriately sized (or empty) space to do their business. I am centrally located in the Cityplace area. So whether you live in Uptown, Knox Henderson, Lower Greenville, or Downtown, I’m just a handful of miles away! HOUSE-SITTING: When it comes to house sitting, I would love to be able to watch your pet in their own familiar surroundings as well if that is what they are most comfortable with. If you need any references from me to ensure my trust and ability to watch over your home during the stay, please let me know and I can get that to you!

A typical day
I personally love getting outside and taking a walk with dogs! So whether your dog needs a longer walk because they’re high energy, or just a short stroll because of their age, I’m able to meet them wherever they’re at and provide just what they need. I do not take any dogs I’m caring for to public dog parks though as they can potentially be unpredictable. Thank you for understanding!

Availability
AVAILABILITY: I am available on the weekends, and throughout the week before/after work to meet the needs of your pet. I occasionally work from home and am able to do drop ins or walks as well throughout the day if needed. My long-term boyfriend works from home and is also able to take a pet out for a potty break mid-day.
