MUST READ: NEW URGENT NOTICE: My dogs (14 and 15) both recently passed. I LOVE LOVE LOVE dogs and I am the most careful, responsible dog owner I know. I have friends who moved away and fly me there to dog sit because they don't trust anyone else. I have seen so many irresponsible dog walkers, I cringe. I work at home as a writer so I will be there with the dogs all day. I also do animal massage and have matched up dogs who love each other. I've had dogs since I was six years old. My father was an animal lover and rescuer who taught me how to care for all animals. We always had dogs, birds, fish, turtles, and guinea pigs. We rescued dogs and injured wildlife, and neighbors and friends called my dad to help them with raccoons living in the attics and mice living in the walls. There was no animal my dad wouldn't rescue. I was taught how to take expert care of each one. I can't imagine life without a dog, and I often had two at a time so the dogs would have dog companions. When I walk a dog, I WILL NOT talk on the phone (SHOCKING how so many dog walkers ignore the dogs when they walk them, or they walk ahead of them and let the dog walk behind. I saved two dogs from getting run over by a car because the guy walked ahead of the dogs and didn't have a care in the world. A car came around the corner and most drivers don't see small dogs. The truth is I have never met anyone I would trust with my own dogs. I make sure I walk next to the dog as you should always have the dog in view. Every animal gets my direct attention and affection. I am a Northwestern University graduate and an Alumni Merit Award recipient, so I put all of myself into everything I do. I have lived in the city for many years, but I do not have a car so you must live near public transportation. My other requirement for staying at a pet owner's apartment is that it MUST have WiFi and be clean. I take perfect care of everything. I am also good with caring for dogs with medical conditions that require pills or insulin shots. Both my dogs have passed on (at 14 and 15) and it is very lonely. I guarantee you your dogs will love me. I don't smoke, drink, or take drugs. I work on the computer daily, as I am writing a book.
