I ❤️ walking and snuggling dogs
Pet care experience
I love dogs and always have. I have grew up with the best dog in the world in Colorado. I started dog sitting and walking at 16 years old and got my own puppy after graduating college at Cal Poly SLO. I now work part time and am attending graduate school at UCSD. I am able to walk my dog 3 times a day and can give your dog the same about of attention. I have a doggie door and small yard . I would love to schedule a meeting so you and your dog could meet me and my dog! We love taking long walks, going to dog parks, and going to coffee shops and breweries. Let me know what you are comfortable with and we can work out a care giving plan.
Reviews
Lindsey Kuster has had a dog in her life since she 7 years old when the family adopted a golden mix, Mattie. She helped care for Mattie through the years by feeding her, helping to train her and by walking her on a regular basis. The family also took in a friend’s dog on a regular basis, and Lindsey contributed to the care of the guest dog as well. During her middle school years she dog sat for a neighbor’s Springer Spaniel when they went on vacation, feeding and walking her daily. When Lindsey was in high school she was asked to sit for two elderly dogs who had many health issues. The dog owners were comfortable leaving their dogs with Lindsey for an extended period because of her demonstrated knowledge of dogs, and compassion for them, and because she had demonstrated reliable support through babysitting the family children as well. Other positions that Lindsey held in high school included lifeguard at the neighborhood pool, as well as swim coach of the neighborhood swim team, demonstrating responsible care of the children and ability to interact with the parents as well. During her college years she served as a nanny for a local family, taking care of the children and the family dog. She also held leadership roles with the California Student Chapter of Structural Engineers. Currently she works as a structural engineering intern for a local firm. She has a record of reliability and quality work in all endeavors. Upon graduation she adopted her own dog, Barrett, and is dedicated to the care and support of her own pet. As she continues her educational journey she would be an excellent pet sitter/dog walker for the San Diego community.
