I am a stay at home and homeschool mom, so my work is in the home! We are able to give our dog George a lot of attention and exercise during the day. We love to take him on a daily walk, and he has many romps in the backyard with the kids during the day!

I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly corgi who cannot wait to welcome your pet into our home! We have a laundry room just off of the kitchen and main living area that is well lit and clutter free. It has a large window and a gate to make it a perfect space for our guests while we are away from the home or overnight. We treat our dog like a family member and will value your dog as our special guest!🐾

Information Lindsey & John G. would like to know about your pet
We would like to know where your pet sleeps at night, as well as where they hang out when you are away from home. We like to know that they are comfortable with older children and how they interact with other animals. It’s helpful to know any quirks, likes, and dislikes so we can accommodate them well!
A typical day
In the morning, your pet will get some time in the backyard before being offered food/water as needed the first part of the day. We will follow whatever meal schedule they are used to following. During the day, our guests are free to roam in the house with the family as they become comfortable with their new environment. They will be given time in the backyard to play and take bathroom breaks often and will be taken on walks as needed! Whatever fun games your pet loved, we will incorporate in their play time. We are comfortable welcoming pets that are crate trained or comfortable sleeping in the laundry room overnight or if we are away from home for short periods of time so that they have a safe place to rest.

Pet care experience
We are a homeschooling family of 5 residing in the Hampton Cove area with three amazing kids and a friendly corgi named George!🐾 We are excited to work with you! We have owned and loved dogs for almost 20 years and have valued the importance of maintaining balance in our pups by training them and creating a safe and structured environment. Our corgi is a very balanced and friendly dog, and he makes friends with every person and dog that he meets! We have a fenced in back yard, so there is plenty of space for your furry family member to run and play! We have three kids ages 8-14 who love animals and have always been amazing caretakers of their dogs. We homeschool, so we are home and are able to give your animal the care he or she needs during the day! We have a laundry room just off of the kitchen and main living area that is a wonderful, well lit space for our guests while we are away or asleep, with a large window and gate at the door. We cannot wait to welcome your furry family member into our home while you are away! ***We host most breeds up to 40 lb, but do also host some larger breeds such as golden retrievers, labs or dogs with a very similar temperament. It is imperative that the dogs we host are friendly with children and other dogs since this is a family operation! A huge benefit of boarding with us is that your dog becomes part of our family!

Boomer had a great stay as usual! He always enjoys watching college football with Lindsey, John, and family.
Always outstanding care of our older dog, Boomer, who takes lots of medication. He enjoys this family so much that he is a little disappointed to come home to my husband and I in our less active home.
Lindsey and John are fantastic. They went out of their way to send us many updates with pictures and videos while we were out of town! They treated our sweet puppy like she was their own. I recommend John and lindsey to anyone looking for someone to take care of the furry friend! Freya is already missing them!
This family takes great care of our 2 dogs. One has health problems and requires multiple medications daily. I never worry about him when Lindsey and John are caring for him. They take the dogs on walks too! Both dogs get lots of attention from this loving family. You can’t go wrong with Lindsey and John G!
