I've been taking care of pets since age 14, and started working at a kennel professionally at age 18. My care ensures that dogs, cats, and other critters are kept healthy and happy while you’re away. Currently only accepting repeat clients for dog boarding. I specialize in giving cats that need to stay in their own home love and care through drop-in home visits. Whether it’s a senior cat that just wants a 30 minute cuddle session or a young cat that needs 30 minute session with a wand toy to stay out of trouble, I’m the pet sitter for you. I have experience in medicating reluctant cats and am happy to take your cat for a walk if they’re harness trained. I can pick up newspapers and water plants when I visit your cat as well.

We left Roger last weekend with Lindsey and felt confident. Lindsey was calm, patient and knowledgeable. Our 10 month old lab puppy had never met cats before so we were a little concerned when we knew he'd be spending the weekend with 3 cats. Lindsey handled the meeting calmly and with skill. Her cats are adorable and well versed in "dog" but probably a little overwhelmed with 10 month old energy. Our pup, we believe, learned a great deal about navigating cats with the expertise of Lindsey. Her knowledge and care of our dog was excellent. Overall, Roger came home happy and like all good puppies, tired. We think Lindsey was terrific.
Lindsey has cared for my pets for years. Because my large dogs were "dog-reactive" I couldn't board them. Lindsey is the only person I trust to handle them on walks and take care of them. She knows a lot about canine behavior, is extremely responsible and really cares about her clients. I always feel my pets are in good hands. Best of all, my dogs LOVE Lindsey!! As one of our dogs has aged, she struggles with arthritis and takes medication. Lindsey is great about taking special care of her and is really tuned in to her specific health concerns. I don't know what I would do if Lindsey wasn't my go-to pet caregiver!! Highly recommend her.

As I have cats in my home (they are dog friendly) it’s important your dog is comfortable with that. If you’re unsure how your dog would do with cats, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure everyone will be safe and happy during your dog’s visit. Puppies working on potty training are fine, but I do require that adult dogs be house trained.
A typical day
There are a number of parks either walking distance or a short drive away. I have a flirt pole that can provide a lot of fun in my basement or yard. I like taking the dogs I sit to pet stores, dog friendly stores, and dog friendly events as long as they have the right temperament (don’t want to take a nervous and reactive dog to a crowded market).
