My very first job was working for Gentle Care Pet Hospital, although iv'e always had many pets growing up, this job provided me with detailed skills to care for animals. I can calmly give dogs any necessary medicine, cut their nails, bathe them, etc. I take caring for animals very seriously, they need exercise daily. The most important thing, aside from of course food and water, is making sure they are loved and have plenty of play time to keep a healthy weight and keep the dog happy. Paying close attention to anything left around that they can get into is especially important, dogs stomachs are so sensitive and it's important to make sure they don't ingest anything harmful, i'm also very familiar with the list of harmful foods to dogs such as chocolate, grapes, dairy, etc. I also take into consideration that the weather in Florida is especially hard on some animals with the heat and their big fur coats. I always make sure to carry water and bowl when walking any dog to make sure they don't overheat.
