I understand the importance of having a reliable sitter available when your pets need care while you’re away from home. I’m a protective dog owner myself, and as a Rover sitter I’ll treat yours as gently, attentively, and lovingly as I treat mine. I’ve cared for dogs my entire life; my family has owned collies, bloodhounds, and beagles, so I’m familiar with all sizes. I currently own a puppy (Ladybird) and I’m training her with the end goal of earning Canine Good Citizen status; it takes lots of patience and attention! I have about 5 years of paid experience petsitting for friends and family while they’re away on vacation, or if they need someone to take their fur kids to/from the vet during the day. I have volunteer experience through the Southeast Missouri Humane Society program “Adventure Tails,” which socializes dogs by safely taking them out for walks and car rides. This has given me great insight into how I can make dogs from all walks of life feel calm and cared for. 3 things about me: * I’m ! vaccinated ! and happy to wear a mask when inside your home, if you need * My hobby is knitting - I even make dog accessories for my Etsy shop! * I’m a jazz singer - I regularly perform with a big band in southeast MO and with my jazz piano duo at local wineries I require a video call prior to booking so we can meet and discuss details regarding both your pets and home. I prefer to have an in-person meet and greet (no addtl charge) prior to the first paid visit for recurring sits, so I can ask questions, get familiar with routines, and your pets and I can sniff each other out. I like to be available on short notice. Please reach out if you’re returning to in-person work after years of being remote, need someone to help your pets get the zoomies out while you’re studying, or just need an extra paw from time to time.
