Pet care experience
I am currently a student at Shenandoah University in the Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy program. I have had dogs in my household for my whole life! My parents and I have had dogs of many sizes in our home; we currently have a 4 year old black lab mix, and a 3 year old black lab/shepherd mix. As someone who grew up playing sports that required travel, I know the importance of having someone trustworthy to look after our pups. I have about six years of experience walking and house sitting dogs and through Rover, I have taken care of cats, birds, and other animals as well! I hold dogs close to my heart and being around so many different breeds, personalities, and ages has taught me to tend to a variety of needs for pups. I am also a bunny mom to an English Spot named Blossom, so I can take care of small animals too! *NOTE: Due to schedule changes, I will no longer be accepting bookings through Rover after the end of April 2023.*

This was the first time leaving our pups . They can be quite energetic, but Lindsey handled them like a pro . She sent us pics and kept in touch while we were gone. I highly recommend Lindsey for overnight stays / dog walking .

I am currently not available for boarding at my house, but I always suggest a “meet and greet” with clients before booking overnights and drop-ins! I try to keep your pets as comfortable as possible while you are away. I am also very understanding of peoples’ rules and requests :)

Does your dog have any special needs (allergies, disabilities, etc.)? What is your dog’s activity level? How long can your dog be alone during the day?
A typical day
I am willing to take dogs to a nice trail or the beach for a long walk or simply around the neighborhood; whatever you and your pup are comfortable with! I love to play fetch with my 1 year old dog just as much as I love snuggling and napping all day with my 14 year old dog, so there is a wide range of activities we can do.

Availability
I am a full-time student and I work part-time, so petsitting is definitely a “side-gig” for me! Although I may not be able to spend all day with your animals, I would drop by and hang out whenever possible :)
