Pet care experience
I have had my own pets since I was 5 years old and have been in love with animals ever since. My neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to care for their animals when they are away and I love doing so! I began working in the veterinary industry when I was 16 as a volunteer and doctor shadow. Since then, I have worked as a kennel assistant, veterinary assistant, and intern at various practices. My love for animals led me to pursuing a degree in animal science with emphasis in Pre-veterinary studies. I was accepted and will be attending veterinary school at The University of Tennessee in the fall but in the mean time, I would love to help care for your animals!

I feel as though taking a pet out of its natural habitat, when they are already stressed with the owners being gone, can make the situation harder on the animal. Therefor, I am looking to offer more care at your home and in areas where the pets are already comfortable. I will care for your pets like I would want mine to be cared for and will also practice my understanding of the veterinary field and all I have learned through my other experiences.

It is important to know of medications, injections, or special needs that your dog has and will need addressed during their time away from you. Feeding schedule, how often they are normally let out, and any other of their daily activities that I can provide to them would be beneficial to know to ensure their most comfortable stay.
A typical day
I love stimulating a dogs senses and ensuring they are comfortable and having fun with me. Taking them on walks, or playing with their favorite toys is an easy way to do that. I also love running and exercising so if I can get some of that while playing with your dog, then I will do so!

Availability
I am home for the summer and have no other obligations besides getting ready for school this upcoming fall! I am looking to spend as much time being around and taking care of as many animals as I can!
