Experienced care for all pets
Pet care experience
I've helped friends and others with their pets for years, including administering medication. I grew up with animals of all kinds, as have my children. I have fostered both dogs and cats throughout both of their lives, reinforcing respect and empathy toward animals. We visit our local shelter frequently to walk dogs and visit with cats. My pets are used to new animals in the home with pet sitting and fostering, and adjust to new animals quickly. Our cat is kept in his own area of the house when necessary.
Reviews
It is my pleasure to offer my most excellent recommendation of Lindsey A for the position of dog sitter/walker. Throughout her children’s lives she has taken them to rescue shelters with gifts of treats and toys. They would play with and leash-walk the dogs and provide loving fellowship with the lonely and fearful homeless dogs as frequent visitors welcomed by shelter staff. Lindsey has fostered many dogs over the years, contributing to their emotional, psychological, and physical recovery and successful re-homing. She has a special heart for dogs who have been abused and/or neglected, suffering PTSD and consequential permanent disability (e.g., amputation, blindness). Her personal forever home dogs have always been dogs who came to her for fostering and rehab from tragic circumstances. Currently, she has Morty and Star, both of whom are 3-legged dogs. Lindsey will never re-home a rescue dog without thoroughly vetting the prospective home and family. Lindsey is skilled in the care of at-risk puppies and aging senior dogs with health and mobility issues. Lindsey is a woman of the highest moral integrity with the earned trust of friends and neighbors, and local shelter staff. My recommendation is made without reservation and in the highest regard. Whomever trusts their pet to Lindsey’s care is truly blessed. Sincerely, Dr. Mari Wirfs Mari J. Lindsey has been keeping my pets for years and has always done a fantastic job! All of my dogs adore her And I feel very confident they are not only taken care of, but loved on as well!
My dog loves when it’s time for Lindsey to keep her. IM pretty sure my Lucy thinks Lindsey is her best friend. It’s always comforting to be able to go out of town with the assurance my dog is completely taken care of. Trust worthy, reliant and a bit of a dog whisperer.. you can not go wrong with Lindsey.
