Pet care experience
I've been working as a pet sitter in the Pittsburgh area for the past 20 years. I have a lot of experience with different breeds from mastiffs to chihuahua's. I have experience walking dogs in a pack or individually depending on what is best for the dog. Some need socializing while others are better with one on one attention! If they can handle more challenging walks I prefer to utilize Pittsburgh many nature trails to hike. The dogs love it too!

Lindsay watched my dog, Riley, while I was out of the country. She stayed in my home for the duration of my vacation. Lindsay was very attentive to Riley and sent me frequent updates, which gave me peace of mind. I have Riley on a somewhat regimented schedule, and I was able to tell upon my return that Lindsay had followed it to the letter. Riley became very attached to her and was sad to see her go. Lindsay also left my home in better condition than when she had arrived. I will absolutely use her in the future and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter or walker. She is very responsible and caring.

I have a fenced in yard. I also live close to many trails and dog parks. My dog is crated at night but if a dog I am boarding prefers to sleep in the bed I will keep them comfortable in their usual routine.

It's important to know if your dog is on any medications or special diet requirements. I also prefer open honesty rather than hiding a quirk or bad manners so I can better care for your pup and ensure their safety. If they resource guard, have leash aggression, or like to lunge for food/garbage on the ground. The more information the better in caring for your pet!
A typical day
I love to go on long hikes and get the dogs off of crowded streets and into nature. It's relaxing for both myself and the dogs! It's also a good way to work on following the pack.

My availability is typically during business hours to help people who are at work or school. I am also available for overnight sittings for those on vacation or out of town on business trips.
