Loving home for your dogs
Pet care experience
I’m a dog trainer who’s taken a step back from training to focus on my family and two young girls. I’ve spent over a decade as a positive reinforcement trainer working in facilities, shelters and rescue, private homes and daycare environments. We are dog lovers through and through and love opening our doors for furry companions. We have lots of experience fostering puppies and have raised a few litters of puppies in our home. I have extensive experience working with puppies, reactive dogs, seniors, over exuberant dogs and everything in between.
Reviews

Very nice, dogs were very played out playing with the other dog she had there. I like her set up there with the yard and dogs can sleep on the Couch :)

I needed to find care for my dog for 9 days for an upcoming vacation. I was not sure how he would do because he can be anxious and high strung so we agreed to have him spend one night at Lindsay's home while I was still in town to see how he would do. Lindsay was super patient with me as a nervous dog mom and with my dog. She was very knowledgeable and kind. So while it will still be tough to be away from my dog while we are on vacation, I will feel much better knowing he is with someone who will take good care of him and be able to manage him well even if he gets anxious.

Lindsay took such amazing care of Marty! He had the best time spending the weekend with her and her family.

Maggie had a great week with Lindsay. Would highly recommend her.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced yard for playing, baby gates at doors for an extra level of safety. Dogs can be crated as needed for comfort. We have a flexible space and are able to adjust to your dogs needs. Dogs must be comfortable with children, even though our children are well trained to give dogs space and are not left unsupervised with new animals.

Information Lindsay W. would like to know about your pet
It’s important I get as much info about your pet as possible. Where they sleep, are they used to kids, what is their energy levels like and how much exercise do they get daily, have they had formal training, do they have allergies, how do they travel in a car and are they crate trained or do they settle behind a gate. My goal is to make your dogs stay away as enjoyable and stress free as possible so the more I know about them the better!
A typical day
A typical day depends on your dogs likes, and needs as well as weather. Too hot or too cold and we adjust as needed. Typically we wake up and have a potty break and some breakfast. I love to feed breakfast in food dispensers to get your dogs nose and brain working. From there we head out on an adventure, wether it’s a leashed walk around the neighborhood, run at the park or even a trip to a dog friendly shop and practice and learn some Fun tricks. After that it’s chill out time in the house or play with the kids for a little bit. We do make sure pups get some down time during the day, whether it’s just a nap on the couch or scheduled time in their crate. For higher needs dogs a short mid day walk might be desirable before more relaxing in the afternoon. I love food toys so if dogs are struggling to relax, a bit on a snack in a frozen kong can be a good brain burner. We do our last outing after dinner with options again depending on the dog. We also are happy to book private off leash time for dogs at cost to the owner.

Availability
I’m a stay at home mom and my husband works from home so our days are incredibly flexible and there’s almost always someone around to have eyes on your baby. I love any excuse to enjoy some fresh air so getting out for walks is a pleasure. We are very used to integrating a variety of dogs needs into our daily rhythm and enjoy seeing the fulfillment the animals get from our time out adventuring.
