I grew up on caring and living with rescue dogs(difficult cases), stray cats, abandoned bunnies, tortoises, hamsters, guinea pigs, and any other hurt wild animal I would try to bring home. I have always had a love and connection to animals of all kinds. Growing up in Pennsylvania I would work around farm animals since a young age and then started to work at a dog boarder/groomer when I was 15. I have learned many precautions, safety and health concerns, warning signs, etc, when it comes to being the complete caretaker of another person’s dogs. I lived in Arizona and started another job at a dog groomer where I am taking the next step in the dog grooming business. I offer all services and can distribute medication as prescribed. I have experience with all breeds, energy level, aggression level, puppy-senior, and any other kind of pets you may have! I currently rescued a dog of my own. He is a small sized (45lbs) pit mix. He is good with other dogs- he is very high energy. Zero has major separation anxiety since coming to me. Being in three homes in 7 days can create a lot of confusion for a dog!! I have worked on many behavioral issues with him and can confidently say he has recently turned a new leaf after two months of chaos and little hope. I love what I do and am adding a new addition within the next year. (my grandmothers tripod basset hound mix)!! I am currently at a full-time job at a veterinary hospital and will be working Monday-Friday. I would be able to stay overnight for house/pet sitting, but would be gone most of the day (M,T,Th). I have full support from my sister, who is also on rover, who does pet sitting with me for when I cannot make it during the day. I have my schedule set to open during the weekends. My home has a fenced yard and my own dog is crate trained. I respect and follow whatever training or rules that are in place for the animal in your home. I take long walks with my dogs in the mornings or at night. My rescue pit bull cannot be left alone without being in the crate, but my other two dogs are perfectly fine being alone. We tend to the needs of each animal differently since they are all rescues with unfortunate upbringings and working through fears and behaviors.
