Pet care experience
I'm a former veterinary assistant looking to make a living doing something I love - taking care of animals! As a vet assistant, I gained experience administering various types of medications as well as basic and specialized care for animals. I have personally owned dogs, cats, a bird, and rabbits and have enjoyed all of the unique and wonderful experiences they've brought to my life. I currently own a 17 year old cat who is the light of my life. In 2017 I completed a 2,200 mile thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, so I love bringing dogs I watch out into the woods for a hike. I am currently in between jobs and have a flexible schedule where I can dedicate time to caring for your furry friends!

I don't bring pets to my home to stay because of my older cat and wanting to care for her well-being. I do live on 20 acres with hiking trails through the mountains, which is a great place to bring dogs for a walk.

Availability
I am currently in between jobs so my schedule is wide open. I will be going back to work full time in mid-February and will have limited availability at that time, but still plan to continue pet sitting and dog walking during my free time.
