Every dog needs to be loved and have a safe and happy home. I’ve always had a four-legged family member in my life: big and small, purebred and mutts. After our twelve-year-old Labrador passed away, we began to foster dogs with Safe Harbor Lab Rescue. Through fostering, we found and adopted our two-year-old gentle giant Benni. He gets along great with all kinds of animals, and his warmth and exuberance are inspiring. I teach high school, and I love nature and animals. I’ve always been very active--I played Division 1 lacrosse in college--and I adore all kinds of outdoor activites: hiking, biking, walking in the woods, camping, and going to the dog park. In addition to being energetic and loving, I’m extraordinarily responsible. I’ll treat your canine family member as one of my own. Our dogs are family and we understand the importance of keeping them safe and happy, and assuring you that your dog will be in good hands. I live in the Highlands in North Denver with my fiancé, who’s also a doting pup parent. The yard has a tall fence so it’s a wonderful place for the dogs to play. Our house has lots of space to play and enjoy life, too. We like to be active throughout the day and have more mellow evenings, and we’re quite flexible and will work with you to make sure that all of your dog’s needs are taken care of.
