I'll Love Yours Like My Own!
Pet care experience
Hello! My passion for animals has been evident since childhood and led to my first dog sitting job at 10yrs old for the chocolate Lab across the street. I've since had numerous dog walking and house sitting jobs as well as worked as a vet tech/assistant in clinics for many years allowing me to gain experience with dogs of many different personalities, ages and energy levels. My goal is to care for your furbabies in the same way you would. I strive to provide your pet with a reliable and fun outlet to exert his/her energy while you are away. A tired dog is a happy dog! I'm happy to take your dog for a walk, play ball in the yard or hike around the park. Have more of a social butterfly? A trip to the dog park is fine with me! You get the added benefit of my knowledge from the veterinary field, so your pet's health while in my care is also of upmost concern. I am very happy to have your dog stay overnight at my home provided he/she is friendly with my critters and is up to date on vaccinations (I have three kitties). A meet and greet at my home is required for this. Please contact me with any questions you have! I hope I get to meet your furry family soon :)

I live in a single family home with a fenced yard and walkable neighborhood. I live with my boyfriend and our three dog-savvy cats. Everyone's allowed on the couch. I can simply set up a gate or crate as needed. I try to emulate as much of your pet's routine as possible, and every pet's needs are unique: 6am walks,
Information Lindsay S. would like to know about your pet
I believe every dog is his or her own individual being. I do not judge a dog by its breed, therefore I have no "breed preferences" or exclusions. During the M&G I will ask questions to get a picture of your dog's daily routine. We can discuss what your expectations are for the visit and relieve any concerns you may have. If you're looking into boarding your dog at my home, please understand that my resident pets' happiness is key to a successful stay, so if in the event your dog is not a good fit for my household, I will politely decline (to date, I have not had to do this, but I do want to cover all bases). Generally my senior-aged male dog gets along best with females or dogs that are not "rough players" as he is not one to initiate play. Like most dogs, he does not enjoy an overly dominate dog.
A typical day
Wherever you desire your dog to be walked is where we will go! From a brisk walk around the neighborhood to an intense ball-fetching session in the yard, I will give your dog a full 30 minutes of energy exertion. Have a senior pet? Maybe a trip to the pet store where he/she can get a lot of love would be more sufficient. Meeting the needs of your dog is my goal.

Availability
I provide pet care on an as-needed basis and devote as much time to it as I can. I clean houses during the day most days of the week and am usually available around those times.
