I've worked as an animal control officer for my county and I have worked at a low cost vet clinic for 3 years. I have fostered many feral kittens, bottle babies, pregnant cats, dogs, and puppies for local shelters over the past 15 years. I currently foster a kitten or 2 in need of a temporary home! I love all animals and I really enjoy the shy or timid ones, I am patient and almost always gain their trust, which is very rewarding for me. I started caring for my own pets as a teenager. I have trained Zaya (my pitbull) myself, and I had trainers help me train my previous dogs. One of my dogs took classes and became a certified therapy dog, and we went to the nursing homes in my area. I have handled all types of cats/dogs from mild to aggressive behavior. I enjoy caring for all of them!! Cats that are boarding in my home need to be current on vaccines, healthy and receive monthly flea treatment. I do have my own cats and want to keep them healthy. Thank you!! I currently work full time on 2nd shift, I work a rotating schedule so my days off vary. I try to he as flexible as possible in caring for your pet!!! My 5 yr old pitbull is good with cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, and all other animals! She grew up with them and enjoys being around them. I take her on several walks a day. My cats are also just as good with other cats and dogs! I'm familiar with animal behavior and know when one might be stressed or needs a break.
