Pet care experience
I grew up in a family where dogs and cats were always around. I spent all of my favorite moments with them growing up, and continued to make animal care a huge part of my life as I got older. I was able to work for the Forsyth Humane Society and familiarize myself with multiple levels of care from the most basic to medical. My family, friends, and colleagues have always reached out for help too, which I am always happy to offer. Now that I have adopted two amazing cats of my own, I understand being a fur-parent ten times more. Rest assured that when your animal is in my care, you will never have to worry about their comfort, safety, and happiness. It will always be my priority!

Lindsay was very understanding and accommodated well with schedules. Lindsay kept me frequently updated with how my cat was doing, and sent cute photos with every visit. Lindsay cared for my furbaby well for what felt like forever, but not quite king enough! It was reassuring to have her be cared for well.

I am very aware of my surroundings and the behaviors of any animal i’m taking care of, I have two animals myself who need a lot of close attention so i’m used to being on my toes.

Let me know if your animal has special needs or requires certain care that may be considered more than average. I am very patient and will work with any breed and any animal, I just like to be aware.
A typical day
A lot of the time I start out visits with a trip outside for fresh air and to give them a chance to relieve themselves and let loose a bit. Being active with them is important so they get out their pent up energy. For other activities I will typically do some light playing inside with toys and things, and of course lots of snuggles. I try to just go with what the dog is feeling, if they just want to cuddle, that’s what we’ll do!

Availability
I currently attend UNCG full time so I have a set schedule during the week. I am mostly available in the afternoons and evenings during the week and anytime on weekends. i do not do overnight visits but am happy to do early morning and late night visits.
