My past experience was working as a volunteer at the Northeast Animal shelter. It required a basic behavioral class on dogs, and shadow training for a few weeks. I was trained in how to handle different variations of dogs, and became comfortable with being patient with dogs as needed for their happiness. Im willing to devote as much as i can to the dogs im held responsible for. I was also given the opportunity to work with many different sizes, ages, and special needs dogs at the shelter so im prepared for any type of interaction that a dog may need whether its high-energy runs, slow paced short walks, or playing with games and toys to work their minds. I also had to be trained very strictly in working with sick dogs/cats and how to properly keep the environment clean and safe to ensure good health. I am very excited about using my knowledge and passion for caring for dogs and hope to provide a happy experience to many families. After working on Rover for over a year now, i've been introduced to the best dogs and learned so much more about them. Here, the dogs are always the main priority. I've formed relationships with owners and their dogs by working on Rover, and would love to continue. This is my passion and my fulfillment so i'd love to watch your dog for you! Thank you!
