Pet care experience
Hi there, I'm Lindsay! I have owned and cared for many different types of pets ranging from dogs and cats to parrots and snakes! I have owned pets for around twelve years and have been a dog sitter/walker for five years. After my childhood dog passed away three years ago, I exclusively adopted and or fostered senior dogs so I am well versed in their line of care! I can bath and groom short and long haired dogs. Don't have a dog or cat but still need a sitter? No worries! I have over 5 years of experience with non traditional pets (tarantulas, invertebrates, reptiles, fish, birds, and farm animals) and would be happy to care for them. If that involves taking care of your pets while your away or just popping in once a day to check on them! I have my own tarantula, scorpion, and ball python that I love dearly and would love to care for yours!

As a nursing student I'm responsible for human lives and so your pets lives are in good hands! I have years of experience with handling large and small dogs but I am not comfortable with reactive dogs unless they are muzzled. I live alone and my apartment is 100% pet friendly as I keep my own pets here (snake and tarantula) and it is well kept. Pets are allowed on furniture and I keep pet designated blankets and toys just for pets that I'm boarding.

If your dog is disabled or has and special needs, food allergies, food aggression or aggression in general, or, anything that you think is important please let me know ahead of time. I love all types of dogs and cats and would be happy to care for them in a safe environment.
A typical day
I am a runner! I love to go on runs and walks daily and I'd be happy to take your dog with me. If I'm not out running I am studying while laying on my couch or bed and id be happy for any couch potatoe to join me! I can play tug of war and fetch for hours without getting bored or I can provide belly rubs and good conversation with your dog!

Availability
I am a full time nursing student at West Virginia Wesleyan College and live close to campus and main street here in Buckhannon. I am up early (6am) and I'm available from 6-7am, 3pm-7pm MWF and 6am-5pm Tuesday and 6am-2pm Thursdays! Weekends are flexible just shoot me a message!
