I am currently a stay at home mom with a 4 month old boy (don’t worry we never let the dogs and baby be together unsupervised and ifnyour dog doesn’t go well with kids then we will keep them separate). I love dogs and have fun both training them and playing with them as well as taking the dogs for a walk. A tired dog is a happy dog is what we live by in our home! Every dog is unique and I strongly believe in positive reinforcement as a tool to generate more of the wanted behavior we want to see in our dogs. My husband and I have volunteered for Oahu SPCA as well as The Humane Society and have fostered a variety of dogs. This has equipped me with the experience to handle the different types of personality traits dogs have. When I watch your dog I will be sure to keep reinforcing the behaviors you want and to steer them away from behaviors you may not want them to continue. I know from personal experience it is frustrating to train your dog, only to go away for a week and come back to a dog that all of a sudden does not do what you taught them. I have one dog myself who likes to go for walks, go to the park, play with other dogs, and sunbath from time to time.
