Responsible, loving, works @ home!

Pet care experience

CURRENTLY WORKING W/ REPEAT CLIENTS ONLY. Cat care: $20 drop-ins. $5 when added onto an existing dog drop-in and for each additional cat. When looking after your pets, I take pride in following your instructions carefully, paying attention to detail, giving your pups or kitties lots of love and interaction, and sending quality photos and updates. Their safety and happiness are my top priorities. About me: I am a freelance writer and work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule and attention to give. I grew up on a ranch where my family had many pets of all kinds, so my love for animals and experience caring for them is lifelong. My husband and I met when we were students at UT and now have two adorable dogs and a very cool cat. If your dog is staying with us and doesn't like cats, we put our cat in his dedicated bedroom for the duration of the stay so every fuzz ball can be happy.

After taking a new job requiring me to travel, Lindsay has been a godsend. She's helped me out in a pinch as well as scheduling back-to-back weeks. She is so kind and conscientious taking care of my special needs dog. I can tell that she really cares about her, and her help is truly appreciated.

Lindsay was an amazing caregiver to my frenchie Gumbo. After our meet and greet I knew that her lifestyle and household was a great fit for Gumbo. She is truly someone who cares tremendously for her own animals (3 of them) but I also saw and felt the care that she took with/my dog. Her daily reports were filled with adorable pictures during videos and I never felt worried or anxious that Gumbo wasn't in good hands. Thank you so much, Lindsay!! We truly appreciate your generosity and kindness and will most definitely ask for your services again!

This was the first time I used rover/ a dog sitter so I was a little nervous, but Lindsay did great! She updated me and followed my directions and my pup looked very happy in the pics she sent me! I will be sure to use her again

Information Lindsay M. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences and focus more on the importance of each dog's unique personality! For boarding stays, the dogs that thrive with our own dogs are easy going, calm, and not super dominant. This allows your pup to be easily absorbed into our pack so that all of us can have fun. Highly energetic, hyper, or playful dogs will have an ideal experience at another Rover home. For overnight boarding stays, I can only accept dogs who are completely potty trained. As for drop-ins, I am happy to work with a variety of non-aggressive dogs, cats, and other critters! For walking, I prefer to work with dogs who are leash trained and don't pull excessively. I do require a meet and greet before accepting new clients so that we can make sure the stay will be a good fit for all involved!

A typical day

Our days start with two amazing things: food and yard time. I feed all dogs separately and then supervise them outside so they can spend as much time as they want going potty and running around our big backyard. Working at home full time, I am able to let the dogs go in and out as much as they wish. I also sit only one Rover dog at a time, so you can trust that your pup will get high-quality care while staying with us. During the morning, we try to take a walk on the sidewalks or trails around our quiet neighborhood, usually for about 15 minutes. Most evenings consist of dinner, a longer walk (about 30-45 minutes), snuggling, and more backyard time. I don't charge extra for walking your dogs according to our typical routine (which includes occasional skipped walks on particularly busy days/evenings). If your dog needs to stick to a structured walking schedule, we can definitely talk about accommodating that.
