I’ve never lived a day in my life without a dog and I’ve never met a pup I didn’t love regardless of size, breed, or age. Growing up my family always had cocker spaniels, and last year I adopted my two girls from a rescue. We think they might be part dachshund, but who knows? I’m confident with giving walks, feeding, giving medicine, and basic grooming (baths and brushing). I also have experience pet sitting while the owner is away. I have worked with a professional trainer and will reenforce basic commands (sit, down, come when called). My dogs are apart of the family.

I live in an apartment with a decent sized, fenced in out door space. I have a dog door so the girls can go out whenever they want (they love to sun bathe) and we go for walks every day. I know the importance of basic hygiene and safety (i’ve had to chase a pup or two down the street in my life time, I learned the hard way to be extra careful.) We also work with a professional trainer and always reinforce basic commands (sit, down, come, etc).
Information Lindsay M. would like to know about your pet
Before meeting a dog, I need to know if they have any allergies, medications, or limitations. It’s also good to know if they have any triggers (they’re afraid of loud noises or aggressive towards children, ect) so I can keep them in comfortable spaces. It’s also great to know if they have a favorite treat :)
A typical day
I like to get out of the house as much as possible, all the wonderful smells and sights on walks are mentally and physically stimulating for pets. My pups love Mason regional park, where they can watch the ducks and have lots of space to play.

Availability
I work full time in education, so I’m available after 3pm and on weekends. This also means I’m off all major holidays and during peak travel times. I’m flexible, we can work together to create a schedule that works for both of us.
