I have always been extremely passionate about dogs and am always happiest when I am around them. They make life so much better. I have cared for dogs almost my entire life and I have always considered them an important part of the family. My friends and family don't hesitate to ask me to dog-sit for them. We have dog-sat everything from small beagle puppies to larger pitbulls. My chocolate lab, Loki, and I love having doggy guests! Your dog will feel right at home with us. Loki and I go on lots of walks and play in the backyard many times a day. My job as a teacher allows me a lot of time off during the summer, so I can be there to give your dog whatever he or she needs! My husband works from home, so your dog will get lots of love. I have also volunteered in an animal shelter where I mostly walked dogs. I would love to help care for your best friend! My Dog: Loki is an 86 pound chocolate labrador retriever. He is the friendliest dog you will ever meet! He is very vocal when other people are around, but at home he is quiet and cuddly. He has never had an issue getting along with other dogs and has lots of dog friends of different breeds. Our House: We live in a one-story ranch-style house with a large backyard. Our yard is fenced in by a 4 ft. chain link fence. We have a large chocolate lab and it has been more than enough to keep him in. The yard is plenty big for him to run around in! Availability: During the summer, I am home full time because I am a teacher. I am very open and flexible on nights and weekends the rest of the year. My husband works from home and will help care for the animals when I am at work.
