Lindsay is the perfect person to be a dog sitter for Rover! She grew up with animals of all kinds including her own dogs, loving and caring for each of them. She treats dogs that belong to family and friends as if they were her own. She loves to go for long walks and enjoys the companionship of a dog. She is dependable, committed, responsible, protective, intuitive, playful and even speaks their language (or so it seems!). She is everything and more that you could hope for when looking for someone to take care of your pet!

My husband, son (1yo), and I live in a one bedroom house with an unfenced yard overlooking the lake. We have lots of room for walks nearby so your pup will get good exercise and be comfortable when at the house. The neighborhood is quiet without a lot of traffic, and I’ll be sure they have plenty of water, space to get comfy, and treats (if you permit).

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or quirks, and I’ll do my best to adapt seamlessly for them. If you plan to leave your dog overnight, we’ll talk about how they sleep best and how to keep them comfortable for the extended time.
A typical day
We live on Belton Lake and have lots of beautiful space to run around and play, so I’ll take your dog on walks around the neighborhood or on the trail down to the water depending on the weather. I also have a little boy who is almost 9 months old (updated 4/23) so dogs will need to be comfortable around children. I will be extra careful to not let him grab or do annoying baby things so your pup doesn’t feel uncomfortable while here. You can expect your dog to be in great care — I understand the nerves of leaving your friend with someone else, and I’m happy to be on the end that gets to ensure you can relax while away. **your dog won’t be crated unless you request them to be for their comfort.

I am self employed and work remotely, so your pup will be by my side and well cared for. I can’t promise you they won’t be tired of me talking to them by the time they come home though!
