We are a married couple living in Gwynn Oak, Maryland with our retired greyhound, Zura. I am a lifelong dog person, growing up with a German shepherd and later a collie mix as family dogs. As an adult I raised a French bulldog and worked in a boarding facility, caring for many breeds of dogs. I have also cared for friends' dogs in their homes, from active Boston terrier pups to an elderly Chow. My husband Jon shares my love for animals and grew up with both cats and dogs. Adopting a greyhound in 2009 was one of the best decisions we ever made as pet owners. Our home is a Cape Cod with a fully finished basement and fenced in backyard. The house has dog beds in just about every room, but dogs are welcome on the furniture. Your dog will have frequent, supervised potty breaks and playtime in the fenced yard. We can also provide leashed walks around our neighborhood for more active dogs.
