I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and miss having one of my own. I’m currently not working, however, professionally I work/worked in healthcare (specifically seniors specializing in cognitive impairment and education). While I loved my “regular” job and working with that population, I got to the point where I needed to step away and do something less stressful and different. Along came Rover, allowing me the ability to be flexible and try something new. I have the time, to create consistency and help adhere to a routine as you are away. The flexibility of my schedule also allows time for things like potty training, special needs, medication administration, obedience work, positive reinforcement, daily check-ins and pictures, walks, or any other fun activities we come up with. I’m always open to new ideas! My family and I have had many breeds over the years and I am very experienced and comfortable with all sizes and breeds! I also have experience with show dogs, training of all kinds, obedience, professional breeders and puppies from birth. I believe love comes in many shapes and sizes, I don’t discriminate! It’s a win win in that you won’t have to worry about your four-leggeded fur baby because you will know they are in great hands and being loved as if they were my own. I’ve either had or worked extensively with Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Rottweilers, German Shepards, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Pitt Bulls, and many Heinz 57 mixtures. I have many references available for both house and dog sitting that I’m happy to provide you with upon request! I am also able/willing to assist in other sitting duties/needs such as other pets, fish, horses, cats, birds etc. I also am happy to water all plants, collect mail/papers, and anything else you may need! Nobody wants to return home to a messy house, I promise your space will look better than how you left it! :) I feel strongly that it’s a privilege that clients trust and feel safe leaving me in charge of their space, home, belongings, and most of all fur babies. This is something I take very seriously and consider an honor. You can rest well knowing they are being cared for in every way possible. I currently have two rescued cats (Lynis and Ollie) and as much as they love me... I am pretty sure if they have food, water, a clean litter box, and comfy napping spot they don’t notice my absence much. My routine is to come to my place once every day or two to make sure all the above happens and to sneak a snuggle. You made it through my not so brief profile...congrats and thank you!
