I grew up training horses and dogs. As a former mental health professional, I love learning new training techniques and learning about various animal behaviors. Typically, I do most of the drop ins, house sitting and day-care appointments. My husband and I currently have a Golden Retriever (6 year old) named Merlot who always loves meeting new friends. Both gentlemen will be in the home during boardings. We allow our dog on the furniture when he asks permission. I understand most dogs don't know to ask permission so we're happy to follow the rules of the owner. To be fair to your furry friend, your rules and training are our rules as not to confuse our new friend. We both work full-time; however, my husband or myself are almost always home. We welcome your family member into our home as if they were our own.
