Lindsay was very patient and accommodating with my two senior dogs, one of which is rather anxious in unfamiliar places. She spent quality time during the initial “meet and greet” to learn about my dogs and their routine preferences, and my dogs had the opportunity to get to know Ernie and her property. Lindsay sent daily updates during their stay which was much appreciated! I felt very comfortable leaving my little ones with Lindsay, and ...
Lindsay took great care of my girl, Annie. I received thoughtful updates from her everyday and felt at ease that my girl was being well cared for in my absence. Lindsay and her dog Ernie both have a very sweet and gentle nature about them that made me feel super comfortable leaving Annie with them for a few days. I'd absolutely have Lindsay watch Annie again!
Lindsay is fabulous with dogs left in her care. She cares about them and asks questions so that she will be able to take care of them in the manner in which they are accustomed at home. What Lindsay would like to know about your dog
It is helpful to know your daily routine. I try to emulate this to some degree because consistency is likely comforting.
If a dog has anxiety it's useful to know what this looks like, and what has been effective in treating the stress.
It is important to have a heads-up if a dog has allergies, leash/food/toy aggression, or is an escape artist.
I don't have any breed preferences or prejudices, however
I am not willing to watch a dog that has bitten a person or another dog.
I also avoid boarding dogs that are extra talkative (bark often), because
I find this to be stressful for my dog, myself, and my neighbors.
