Lindsey is a natural dog caregiver. Our Duncan is old, deaf, frail, and perhaps a bit daffy. When I brought him into Lindsey's house, he seemed totally comfortable--after he made sure her dog knew he was the boss. I felt totally confident that he was being given loving care. Lindsey is everything I would look for in a dog caregiver. Highest recomendation.

My two Havanese are sweet pups and a little sensitive. I knew from the first time I met Lindsay that she was the one for us. She knows dog behavior and made them (and me) feel at ease in her home. I'll be planning my vacations around her schedule! And her dog Earnie is a big sweetheart. They sometimes don't like big dogs but he's so gentle. Lindsay sent pictures and let me know how ...

Safe & Loved: I work from home!

Hello! We are Lindsay (human) & Ernie (dog).

We are committed to providing fun, safe, and loving care to your canine companion.

**please note that I am unable to host high energy dogs because my own dog is now a senior and is overwhelmed by this.

I offer:
a very large, fully fenced backyard
dog-friendly floors and furniture
daily walks, runs, or dog park adventures
a smoke-free environment
flexible drop-off and pick-up times
Conveniently located ...

What Lindsay would like to know about your dog

It is helpful to know your daily routine. I try to emulate this to some degree because consistency is likely comforting.
If a dog has anxiety it's useful to know what this looks like, and what has been effective in treating the stress.
It is important to have a heads-up if a dog has allergies, leash aggression, is an escape artist, won't stay in unfenced areas, or has stress triggers like loud sounds. It is my habit to separate dogs during feeding time, but it's still good to know if food brings out insecure behavior.

I don't have any breed preferences or prejudices, however
I am not willing to watch a dog that has bitten a person or another dog.
I also avoid boarding dogs that bark incessantly, or have a tendency to yip often because
I find this to be stressful for my dog, myself, and my neighbors.
