We absolutely LOVE dogs! I was raised with redbone hounds and various herding dogs, and have been a dog owner ever since. I am a behaviorist and psychotherapist, now working entirely out of my home offering online therapy to clients, which means I am home all day! My husband travels a lot (though he's a HUGE pup lover, too) and, frankly, I love the extra company and cuddles, especially while he's gone. I now have a border collie (Kai, who is super friendly, playful and well-behaved) who makes a great companion to young and old dogs, alike! We live in a large townhouse with a doggie door that opens to a full back porch and small yard that they can access at any time. We have lots of toys, balls and space for them to frolic and play, as well as rooms with crates and beds if they just want to nap. I'm glad to provide comforting companionship to your pup while you're at work, or even keep him/her overnight while you're away.
