At this time, I am accepting dog/cat boarding clients and daily walks/drop-ins. We live in a house with a fenced in yard (plenty of space for playing!) in the ballantyne area. Our neighborhood also has sidewalks, so walks are easy too! Critters that board with us should be used to kids (we have one toddler) and cats (we have three of those). Animals that stay with the family will be welcome to join on any pet friendly activities that we find ourselves doing! This includes small hikes, dog parks, and riding in the car. Of course, all activities will be approved by you beforehand. I do ask that your pets please be potty-trained! And please note that I only travel so far for visits. I have this listed on my profile, but often rover gets confused. So let’s check travel distance first! I also have to respect my daughters nap times, so I will be unable to do walks/drop-ins between 12-4pm. Little more about me: I am a former zookeeper, who has a passion for all animals. I have been dog/cat sitting since I was a teenager, and I worked in AZA zoo facilities for nearly 5 years. At my previous zoo, I worked in the on-site veterinary clinic, and learned how to provide the very best care for all types of animals. I have been sitting with rover for 3 years now. I have experience with all types of dogs/cats--big/small, shy/outgoing, young/old. I also have plenty of experience with special needs animals, including those who need special attention/medicating. I am happy to follow any special instructions that you may have! I treat every booking as if I were caring for my own pets. I do not offer group walks/drop-ins (except for pet siblings, of course!), because I prefer to spend time with your animals one-on-one. I am also happy to care for any other pets you may have including cats, reptiles, birds, etc. I love anything and everything!
