Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs and cared for animals for over 25 years. Originally from Seattle, I've raised four Labrador Retrievers and cared for many others breeds and sizes of dogs over the years. I've been lucky enough to grow up with a family in the dog business to learn obedience training and skills for watching all different doggie personalities :). I also used to show labs and have been to the Westminster show for work. From Seattle, I moved to New York and cared for many different doggies in all parts of the city. Now that I'm in Southern California I own two big beautiful maine coone kitties and we welcomed a Labrador puppy into our home about 6 months ago, named Banjo! Safe to say animal multitasking is my specialty. I currently work in PR and like to think I’m just as good with dogs and cats as I am with people ;) I work from home and have a flexible schedule to take care of your furry loved ones during the day nearby in Newport Bluffs.❤️

Lindsay was simply phenomenal with our pups! She took on our 3 month old puppy when we needed help while we were at work, and exceeded any expectation we didn’t even have. She was extremely trustworthy, communicative, and flexible with our schedule, and was always willing to help out with last minute requests when she was able to. She made sure to stick to the routine we had set up for our puppy with food, water, and walks (even as inconvenient as it was since we lived in an apartment). She sent regular updates and lots of photos with each visit and made sure to communicate any concerns or issues she had. If we still lived nearby, she would absolutely still be taking care of our pups for us!
Lindsay was great! She came for a meet and greet before staying with our pup and he loved her immediately. She sent us updates and lots of pictures. When we came back, our little pup was very happy and our apartment was clean. She even wrote us a little note about her stay so we didn’t feel like we missed anything. Would absolutely recommend Lindsay and use her again!

Lindsay is the best, my pup loves her and she always takes him on fun walks exploring the area. She takes the time to get to know you and your dog ahead of time and is so professional and responsible. I never worry when I know Lindsay is coming to check in on my pup.

1) Is he/she potty trained? Leash trained? 2) How energetic is your dog? 3) Does your dog have a history of aggressive behavior- biting, nipping, jumping, etc. or any other behavioral issues? 4) Does our dog play nice with others? 5) Does your dog have all their shots? 6) Does your dog require any other sort of special treatment- is there anything else I should know?
A typical day
I provide lots of snuggles and pets and focus on positive reinforcement and loose leash walking. I allow lots of time for sniffing(!) and will greet other dogs only with your permission. I am also happy to work on or abide by any specific obedience training if that's a priority for you. And lots and LOTS of photos of your loved ones for you! I prefer to walk dogs on a leash who are leash trained. I typically walk around the newport bluffs apartment community and nearby neighborhoods, I always carry coyote/dog spray for protection. Happy to meet and great at any time prior to your trip, just let me know!
