Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and other animals and house sit since before I was 10. I have loved dogs both large and small my whole life. I was originally supposed to go to vet school and I have a lot of hands on experience with basic medical needs. I treat all dogs as if they were part of my family. I’ve had a couple of jack russells as well as boarder collars and a Tervuran so energy does not bother me. Our dog right now is 85 lbs and lazy. Whatever the personality, they’re welcome! As an adult I have been a professional dog trainer and can help in this area as well.

Lindsey did a fantastic job! Initially I was fearful of this service with such a young pup. But buddy and her dog rocky became friends fast. I was more fearful that buddy did not want to come home! Will definitely use again! Highly recommend Lindsey!

We live in a smaller house and have a completely fenced in yard. We have sidewalks in the neighborhood so it’s easy to go for walks. Our big dog Rocky doesn’t really care about other dogs. He has lived with plenty. He has been to day care quite a few times. He will occasionally play with puppies but generally doesn’t bother other dogs and prefers people over them. He does like to play when asked though!

I would like to know if there are any quirks that you think I should know about. Does your dog need a kennel and if so will you bring one? Is your dog house broke? How much food does your dog eat? Do they eat it all at once or are they a grazer? Is their diet strict or is it ok if they find a couple of pieces of Rocky’s food from treat dispensing toys? What type of exercise is preferred? Do they have anxiety over anything and do you know what helps? Anything else that will make it more comfortable?
A typical day
It’s currently just me and my fiancé Matt. We both love dogs. There will be lots of snuggles and play time!! We have an over abundance of dog blankets and toys all over. We even have a dedicated couch for the dogs. We do also have beds and cots if your fur baby isn’t allowed on furniture. We have lots of sidewalks where we live so walks are easy!
