LINDLF47529 I have been caring for a zoo of animals since I was a young teen. They add so much joy to my life and I truly love caring for animals. I am patient to a fault and would love the opportunity to provide a safe place for your furry family member to stay. My typical hours for drop off and pick up are from 6:00am - 8:00pm. I do offer some flexibility but that is typically the best schedule for me and my family. Currently, I study from home and have an incredibly flexible schedule. I am able to be around and attentive all day. I use crates only if they are preferred by pet parents for sleeping or training purposes. My home is designed with pets in mind! I sanitize all pet spaces daily to keep my guests happy and healthy. I use gates to section my home into “zones” for safety. This allows me to have multiple dogs here safely and keep them with others of similar size and energy levels. I have wide open spaces for dogs and cats to roam and be with me throughout the day. They are allowed on the furniture just as any other guest would be as long as its ok with parents. I also have more private quarters available for cats and dogs should they be more comfortable in that type of environment. I am open to requests, accommodations, and special needs. I have been a home health nurse for 13 years and am comfortable administering medications if needed. Please feel free to contact me to discuss care! On a typical day, I am up early and take dogs out to go potty. (about 5:30 am) After that, I give them breakfast and sit to enjoy my coffee. From about 7:30 to 9 am I begin my course work from home. I enjoy having the dogs around me while I work on things for studies. Throughout the day, we will have many trips outside to play, walk the neighborhood during cooler months, and also come in to have lots of snuggles on the couch. I will usually work for a few hours until lunch time. Lunch and/or treats will be given depending on the owners preferences. Evening routines with my canine guests usually begin about 5:30pm. They are given their dinner, taken out for a bit more exercise, and then are brought in to relax before it’s time to sleep. Last call (potty trip) is at 9pm. Crates are available upon request if you don't want to bring your own. Otherwise, we will just be relaxing hotel style while you are away! In my home, I have a huge master bedroom that is much like it's own apartment. I use this room if separation is needed and of course welcome my guests to sleep in there with me if that is what they are used to. They are allowed on the beds and will enjoy lots of hang out time with me and my family. My guests are usually in the large living area with me and my family throughout the day and evening. We have tons of toys and space out back for them to play and explore. There are two tall metal pup gates between rooms to ensure safety if there are large and small dogs here at the same time. The back door in my bedroom opens up to a large, privacy fenced back yard for easy access to fresh air and potty breaks. I utilize playpens, crates, and dog beds depending on the personal needs of pets. Fresh water will be available to all guests throughout the night and they will be allowed to go potty at any time if needed. My cat room is spacious and offers many different types of cat trees and hides. Cats are also free roam in their zone- protected by another gate- until sleeping hours... and will spend the night supervised in their private area of the house. Fresh water and litter boxes are always available in the cat room and throughout the house. My home is extremely animal friendly and I invite you to ask if you would like more information!
