Pet care experience
If anything has prepared me for caring for other peoples' dogs, it was bringing home my rescue pup, Ophelia, in October 2015. I have house sat and dog sat many times over the past several years but never until I got Ophie did I realize how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry friend. I hate being away from her, but when I have to be, it is so important to me that the person caring for her is kind, fun, responsible, and honest with me about whatever might be going on. I promise to be all of these things and more for you and your pet(s). I want to know about how YOU care for your dog, so I can make him/her as comfortable and safe as possible. If you are working on any specific training, I would love to continue it. I am committed to sending you Rover cards during my visit as well as quality photos of our day. If you book dog-sitting in your home or book on an ongoing basis, I may even bring my dslr camera and take some professional photos of your pet as well for you to treasure and remember. I can't wait to play with your pup!

Lindi was wonderful! She was really flexible on when I needed her to check in on Lucy, and she was communicative throughout the week. Lucy was happy and healthy when I returned, and Lindi made the process easy and enjoyable. I would definitely work with her again!

I don't have any breed preferences, but I would like to know the overall temperament of your dog. Do they love people and other pets or would they rather be left alone? For walks and drop ins, just let me know if there is anything about taking a walk with your dog that you think I need to know. Are you working on any training during walks that I could continue for consistency? If so, what are you teaching them and how do you reinforce? For house sitting in your home, let me know how you do feeding and how much, how often they need to go outside to do their business, and again if there's any training we can be working on while you are away.
A typical day
If I get to spend time with your furry friend, we can take walks around the neighborhood, play fetch, visit a dog park, and of course, lots of belly rubs in between it all. It really just depends on the length of time I get to spend with your pup and what you are comfortable with!
