Pets = joy!

Pet care experience

I come from a big family of dog lovers and grew up with two Shih-tzu poodles who have since passed of old age (devastating to lose them). My parents now have a cavapoo that I adore, my cousin has a sweet and goofy mutt, and my other cousin has a border collie pointer mix. I love them dearly and will eventually have a dog of my own but with grad school and my family is all in CO, it’s not in the cards right now. For now, I’d love to care for yours as my own!

My dogs Darius and Peaches loved staying with Linden! I was a first time rover user and was hesitant but Linden gave me peace of mind by sending frequent updates and cute pictures. It meant so much to my heart to know they were getting great care. She will be my go-to sitter next time I go on a vacation.

Linden took great care of Brindle, my large Komondor for a week while I was out of town. Linden feed and walked her twice a day. She even took Brindle to the St. Nicholas dog park run in Harlem on the weekend to give her some extra exercise and playtime with other dogs. I will be hiring Linden again!

Linden is the definition of animal lover! From raising her own fur babies, Otis and Fiona, to taking care of friends and families pets, she has always had a special bond with animals. Her nurturing and loving nature makes Linden the perfect caregiver for your pet, you won’t have to worry about a thing!

My puppy Josie adores Linden. She is great with Josie, cuddling or playing frisbee depending on Josie’s needs. I would be a able to leave Josie in Linden’s care without apprehension. Knowing Josie is safe, cared for and happy is worth everything to me!

I am open to boarding for pets that have gotten comfortable with me and are well behaved. However, I live in a 5th floor walk up studio so it would be unfair to board a medium to large dog here. I would happily let the pet out every 2-4 hours for a walk and potty break during the day and once before bed and first thing in the morning (I sleep about 8 hours). I would also take the dog to the park near my house at least once per day for a longer play/outdoor time (45-1hour min). Open to any questions or concerns you would have specific to your pet!

Information Linden L. would like to know about your pet

It is important for me to know any medications/dietary/potty needs that are specific to your dog. Also, I’d love to know personality quirks that may be useful in bonding with your pet and caring for them properly! Also, always good to understand how they act on walks and their comfort ability around other dogs.

A typical day

My parents dog is extremely active so I am always up for walks, jogs, frisbee, fetch, tug of war, or other games with your dog. I frequent St Nicholas and Central Park and love hanging with dogs in the parks! After some good exercise, I love to snuggle with dogs on the couch while watching a show.
